Approach
As a qualified McTimoney chiropractor, I work with a wide range of manual techniques, adapting their intensity and speed to your individual needs and physical circumstances.
My focus is on individually tailored treatment, a careful approach and the wellbeing of my patients.

Examination
I carry out a focused examination of your whole spine and your joints. I test your mobility, muscle strength and any restrictions in movement. This helps me identify functional problems and plan treatment tailored to you.
Techniques Used
My holistic approach combines targeted chiropractic impulses to the spine, including the TTR technique (Toggle-Torque-Recoil) developed by McTimoney, with other traditional chiropractic techniques, the use of an Activator and gentle joint mobilisation. I also use muscle treatment techniques such as trigger point therapy to address muscular tension and support mobility.

Possibilities and Limitations
Chiropractic treatment offers many possibilities for musculoskeletal complaints, joint and muscle problems, restricted movement and postural problems. The aim is to improve mobility and relieve symptoms. However, chiropractic also has limitations and does not replace necessary medical diagnosis or treatment. Please ask me if you have any questions – where needed, I recommend further medical assessment.
Necessary Medical Assessment
Chiropractic can be used as supportive care for various complaints, but not every cause can be treated with chiropractic. For the following symptoms, it is best to seek medical assessment first:
Numbness or tingling that is new and/or increasing significantly
Loss of strength in the arms or legs, for example when objects fall from your hand
New paralysis, numbness in the groin or buttock area, or problems with bladder or bowel control require immediate medical assessment.
Sudden, unusually severe neck pain or headache
Dizziness with double vision, speech difficulties, unsteadiness when walking or coordination problems
